I was looking at my home page this morning and noticed a Blog suddenly popped up in my Blog panel for the band. Thanks guys :)

So for those who don't know who we are and our history, here's  a quick rundown.

The Alkaline HotShots is a band of entertainers playing music (and occasionally dancing) on Shadowfire. The band (and the name) was Lilium's idea, and was formed by Lilium (and Flowerpot), myself and Wookik whilst we were playing in Eisely cantina one day. It's grown from there to become an exciting and fun group with many members from within, and outside of, the YaMB guild. We not only play in Cantinas and offer buffs, we are also available (in one capacity or another) to play at social events and parties.

Our permanent member list has grown from the 5 initial members to a long and distinguished list:

• Burrito Bob
• Lonina
• Ickta and Fey (think they are from W W)
• McCoid (I forget his guild)
• Hypatia

While it's rare for us all to play at once, various members of the band will meet up for a jam, depending on who's available and who is feeling the vibe. Also, we aren't a closed system, if you feel like joining us and jamming to the groove or dancing 'til you drop you just gotta ask, we'd be more than happy!

So I hope we'll see you online somewhere, and we look forward to seeing you out there.
