I... hmm, alot of sentences begin with I... anyway.

I think its just a matter of someone doing it and then smite those around them. I had a friend who said "and so" every time she said a few words, like she wanted people to catch up on those few words so she didn't lose them in a full sentence.

Mayeb its like they say "Smile, its contagious" =D

Korron, it wont work with /qui gon, it can't have the "on" in the gon, or not have the "gon" at all.

...I mean, uh that is a secret command that spawns Qui-Gon Jin's spirit, who gives you an uber buff (or some such nonsense).

Yeah, in general the forums as a whole have gotten like this. Especially the trollers, they are getting more and more aggressive. I'm just glad to see that they all didn't start attacking TH when he announced he was leaving, instead were respectful.

But yeah, Game Play Discussion is particularly bad.

Once upon a time, in a golden time before somebody 'reorganised' things, the forums had a sort of natural order.

The GAT was the GAT. It's where you went to pharm postcount, scarf pie, nobble beer and practise your /slashy fecing skills.

The Galaxy forums were, let's face it, zoos. The less said about them the better. But it's good to have a 'special' place for people...

The Trade forums, well, they were of varying degrees of usefulness but they worked. FSVO worked.

Then the profession forums.... ah... the land of dreams and nightmares. Need a guide on Pistoleer, look in the Pistoleer forum. True it might be coped or cross referenced to the Gameplay forum but generally profession stuff went in the profession forum.

Heck, there was even a degree of order in the way the dev path was mimicked(sp?) by the forum structure. In Concept -In Development - In Test - Live. You knew where to find stuff and stuff knew where it should be.

Now? And this applied as much in Lithium, it's just an overglorified noticeboard beside the office watercooler. Many many post-it-notes and 'you don't have to be crazy to work here' humoresque images fighting for space with the occaisional green ballpoint rant or red penned important notice.

Question is, does anyone care enough to want to even start trying to reclaim it?

Well, I'm from Lowca. You guys saw our standards a few eps back. I've never expected galaxy forums to be, y'know, useful.

But I agree, even the general forums have nothing. On a boring night at work I used to be able to count at least an hour or two covered as I here and there read some stuff. Now, I can finish checking for interesting threads in under 5 minutes and I'm out.

It's the same, tired, retreads of threads. Just doesn't seem to be much of the community. Mind you, as a pure crafter I guess my time peaked and past with chapter five. The lively crafting discussions and debates ended abruptly and we're left with who pwns whom as pretty much the sole topic of forum conversations.
