I'm wondering why Luke's lightsaber change to green when he was practicing with the remote in the Falcon. And another thing is that it didn't change to green ever again. Thoughts?
As far as I know it didn't. Which version did you see? Maybe it was just your color settings on your TV. It was blue in every version of A New Hope that I've seen, and I've seen 'em all.
i never saw it turn green either it was always blue in the new hope
I'm.... pretty sure it shaded green in A New Hope in the Falcon when he was using the remote. I'll check it out again.... yall do the same. :)
I watched it again and it does indeed shade a very light, almost white, green.
right after alderaan gets blown up his lightsaber does look a little green. I am surprised its like that even in the dvd release.

Do you think that was just a technical error or if Lucas intended it to be that way? Another instance of this comes to mind in episode 1 when Quigon is fighting Darth Maul. During that duel his lightsaber is bright green, while other times of course it's blue.
I'm sure the one in episode 4 was a technical error. I don't know about quigon's lightsaber though. I doubt that one, but it is supposed to be green
The collor may have ben changed for the back ground in the falcon to make it show up better on screen. or just a error or over sight thay ment to corect and forgot to. (sorta like the pickup winshild in the movie twister befor going through the hous smashed after houe its perfict looks like new)

Yeah. And also if you watch closely at the end of A New Hope when Vader is fighting Obi-Wan, about mid way through, you can baarreely see how Obi-Wan's saber shades purple for a few seconds.
